A Little Break

Well, I’ve been seeing all the cool stuff coming out in MapleStory lately, and I’m going to be patching and playing again soon, but in the meantime I find myself playing on a few different private servers (which I won’t post links to, since they seem to be addictive), simply because its so different from real MS and I level over and over again and I get to experience everything.

The leveling I did on one character, a level 79 archer (in 2 hours) really makes me want to play my level 30 up to that level for real! We get so strong up there

Anyways, I haven’t been really active on the MS or on the blog scene lately, I’ve been working hard on my different websites, and doing some stuff for my personal blog, dionrodrigues.wordpress.com. On top of all that, I’m working this summer and I’ve also gotten into Combat Arms, the new Nexon game! I got into the BETA and now I’m continuing to play in the Open Beta, hit me up if you want to play, the name is DemonKing19!

Well, I’m sure I’ll post some more stuff soon, maybe a Combat Arms vid or a private MS server vid? Fraps FTW!

New Personal Blog

Hey guys, long time no blog :/ I haven’t played MS since getting back from my vacation….. not really sure why not, but all the crap happening in my personal life probably doesn’t help.

Anyways, I’m just here to say that I’ve started my own, new personal blog! Located at http://dionrodrigues.wordpress.com/ , I’ll be blogging about work, projects, personal stuff, etc – So this is now my official gaming blog!

WOT HIGH SPED?

Yea, I finally switched from DSL (Bell Canada) to Source Cable High Speed this week – finally. So freakin’ fast….  :)

In other news, I got my computer back (about time!)… I was using it too much (not even playing MS, just… surfing the web – I blame Facebook xD)…

Finally hit 2nd Job yesturday, so to celebrate I whipped up a new header image – ooooh glowing text effects

Unfortunately, the day after getting fast internet and hitting 30, I’m going on vacation to PORTUUUUUUUUUUGAL! (My home land!) Sure to be a good trip, and I’ll see you all when I return.

Bellardia Forums

I recently signed up to be a member of the Bellardia Forums at http://www.bellardia.com/ and I have found that, so far, they have been the best MapleStory community website I’ve ever seen. From the tight nit community of simply Bellocan, Mardia and Kradia (and Yellonde, for those it applies to) to the highly active and friendly staff, the forum is a really nice place to hang out. The main reason I write this is because Bellardia Forums recently added a new (and extremely cool) automatic signature creator. It puts a backdrop image that reads Bellardia along with your Characters name, Class, Level, %, Server and Avatar together and sticks them into an automatically updating siggy.Its real neat, and I’ll be finding a way to incorperate mine into this blog…. soon For now, here’s what mine looks like: 

 

Hit 20

Early yesturday, I hit level 20 in the Ant Tunnel, and got up around 70% in just under an hour. I also joined a fairly boring guild where nobody talks…. I’m probably going to be making my own guild soon, but for now I’m happy to at least have one.

Today, I leveled to 21 and got back up to around 30%. I’ve managed to gather up around 500k from Gachapon scrolls and such, and I just completed a Basil Market auction selling my Gachaponed Black Paintbrush for 600k…. its below average 3 points, its got 72 Weapon Attack….. so I’m happy with just over half a million for it.

Lots of NX being charged by me…. $72 in total so far (in Canadian dollars, 60k NX Cash in total). I’ll take some pics of the cards and such later…. for now, enjoy some screens of my equips.

 

I also took some time to do the Free NX Haircut quest…. What a ripoff that was…..

As my brother said, I’ll need to get even more NX now to repair the damage…… >_<

On another note, the new look for the blog is pretty much done and up now, I’ve edited and updated most of the pages to the best of my knowledge, such as the Animation page, which has links to all of my MapleStory movies, the DeadlyForce1 and ShellKing pages are updated with levels, guild information, etc, and the About Me page has been updated to tell people about why I quit, when I quit, and when I came back to MS. I’ve also updated the Guild page, basically stating that until I get into a new guild, its just going to be sitting there as a gallery of the old guilds I was in when I played in Scania.

I’m also going to be adding a Super Megaphone page, where I’ll post any funny Super Megaphones I make or see. I’ve already got a few good ones ready to go, I just need to make the page.  I’ll be updating the DJDeadly1 page with a complete equipment listing, as well as a complete NX listing, but right now I don’t have all the screenshots ready.

Theres a few more things I want to do with this blog, but for now its coming along pretty well. I’m going to also add a videos page, since my Macbook Pro is decent enough to run Fraps this time around, not to mention I can play the game on high quality (at last, you guys can read my screenshots!).

Other than that….. enjoy the March Break, I’m pretty much going on an MS hiatus for the rest of the week (until Saturday) due to family gatherings and such, and enjoy our obviously to-be-delayed server check – the only reason I’m not on MS right now!

I’M BAAAACK!

Hey guys! After an extremely long hiatus, an inpromptu decision led me to begin my adventures in MS once again! I know its random, and totally weird, since I quit not too long ago, but I’m starting over in Mardia, with a new character, new friends, and new fun! Not to mention my friend sinsown245 is about to get MARRIED ~ GRATS MAN ~ so I would like to get a taste of that, see what its like, have some fun, and just play the game in my spare time. 

 My new character, DJDeadly1, complete with NX, is currently level 14 and rising. Thanks to 2x EXP cards, 2x Drop Cards, and a very generous level 124 Bowmaster who gave me 300k, I’m all set to blast to 2nd job in a few days.

A little insight though….. Having NX is fun. It really is. Nexon Cash Cards are absolutely amazing Not to mention…. NO. MORE. HACKERS. The game really has changed. I thought I’d be doing the same old thing getting my archer off Maple Island, BOY was I wrong! There must have been AT LEAST 5 new quests, and SURPRISE! I got to take the boat for free? AND I got my first bow for FREE??? Along with 3000 ARROWS? THANK YOU NEXON! The archer training sessions, which are extremely easy, were also extremely helpful for getting money and some pots to start off with, I LIKE IT!

And yes, I wasted 11K NX Cash on Super Megaphones…. Unfortuntately Fraps didn’t take any screenies…. OH WELL! I just bought more NX today, bringing my NX Cash total up to $60…… Good thing I’ve got loads of disposable income ^_^
